This screening of 2013’s THE GREAT GATSBY is presented in collaboration with the Princeton University Library who will join us to commemorate the centenary of the publication of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s seminal work of American literature.

Director Baz Luhrmann (Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge) infuses his distinctive visual flair into this vibrant adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic novel. Set in the Roaring ‘20s, THE GREAT GATSBY stars Leonardo DiCaprio in the role of an enigmatic millionaire whose extravagant lifestyle and gatherings conceal a profound yearning for a past romance. As the film unfolds, a story of obsession and tragedy emerge. Also starring Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, and Joel Edgerton.
