THE HISTORY OF SOUND is a beautiful period piece with captivating performances from leads Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor. The pair play two men who meet at the Boston Music Conservatory right before WWI. Then following the war, they travel the rural United States together to record authentic folk music. Along the way they fall in love. Also starring Chris Cooper.
