Starting as a sweet romantic comedy about a musician (Anthony Edwards) who falls for a waitress at a Los Angeles diner (Mare Winningham), is barely a fraction of the pitch-perfect setup for what’s to follow. After the musician receives a chance phone call in the dead of night, the plot of MIRACLE MILE turns into a nightmarish scenario that plays out in real time. To spoil anymore would surely do this film a great disservice.
