From the same team behind the Academy Award-nominated A Cat in Paris, this animated film from Belgium is a superhero mystery set in New York. An 11-year-old boy named Leo is not well, but he gains the power to leave his body as a “phantom” and assist a wheelchair-bound policeman in taking down a mob kingpin. Visually compelling, PHANTOM BOY is a hand-drawn marvel that blends classic film noir and cubist minimalism to tell a story about the strength and character that it takes to define a hero. The film will be screened with English dubbing to accommodate all ages.
